Download this episode (37 min)
God wants you to achieve in life - whether you are riding high, or riding low on life's roller coaster. "Happy are those who's greatest desire is to do what God requires of them". This beatitude from Matthew 5:6 forms the fifth step in Celebrate Recovery. This week our teaching focuses on this step and the statement in step 5; "I will voluntarily submit to any and all changes that God wants to make in my life". Jenny O'Sullivan shares her testimony this week.

Matthew 5:8 states "Blessed are the Pure in Heart for they will see God". This beatitude forms the fourth step in Celebrate Recovery. This week our teaching focuses on this step and the statement in step 4; "We openly examine and confess our faults to God, Myself and others we Trust". How do we have a pure heart? Good question! listen for the answer! Ron Podmore gives us a very powerful testimony of how God reached out and "set him free".

Celebrate Recovery #2

Download this episode (42 min)
Everyone needs to recover from something that has negatively affected their lives. We are excited about running a course at RTCC titled "Celebrate Recovery" which is a 12 step course based around the Beatitudes in the bible. Glenn speaks from Matthew Chapter 5:4 "Blessed are the poor in Spirit" and how this passage constructs the the second step of recovery. Luke Kirkegard from our church family shares a little of his journey with God over the last few years and the impact that Celebrate Recovery has had in his own personal relationship with the Saviour and perspective of life.
